Battery Storage and EV Charging Stations Projects

OHR Energy received a grant from the South Coast Air Quality District for the installation of a 1.4MW renewable fuel cell system to be coupled with two EV Charging stations and associated battery storage system.  The fuel cell was installed at the City of Riverside’s waste water treatment plant, while the EV charging station and battery storage systems were installed at the City of Riverside Orange Terrace Community Center.  OHR Energy was responsible for the design, engineering, plan check and permitting of the EV Chargers and battery storage system.  OHR Energy purchased and install a Chargepoint Level 2 Dual EV Charging station and a 30kW/30kWh Engie battery storage system.  Both systems were installed and became operational in 2018.

Irvine Company  – Advanced Microgrid Systems

OHR Was awarded the contract to become the installation contractor for Advanced Microgrid System for the installation of a 500kW/1,000 kWh Tesla supplied power pack that was installed at the Irvine Company Office Tower located at 400 Spectrum Center Drive, adjacent to the Irvine Spectrum.  OHR Energy provided permitting services, including supporting Stem on the Rule 21 electrical interconnect agreement.  The project was constructed and equipment was installed by OHR Energy and was completed in 2017.

Rubbercraft

OHR was awarded the contract to become the design-build EPC contractor for Stem for the installation of a 250kW/500 kWh Tesla supplied power pack at Rubbercraft’s manufacturing facility in Long Beach, CA.  OHR Energy provided all design, engineering, plan check and permitting services, including supporting Stem on the Rule 21 electrical interconnect agreement.  The project was constructed and equipment was installed by OHR Energy and was completed in 2017.
